Brava Fabrics joins Neiwa!

Brava Fabrics fait son entrée chez Neiwa !

 Brava fabrics

The Brava brand is committed to fairness and transparency throughout its supply chains! That is why they design and produce their products in Spain and Portugal.

Fair working conditions, adequate working hours, a safe working environment, a legally binding employment relationship, and fair wages for the people who make our clothes by hand are essential prerequisites for the brand in these times of fast fashion and overconsumption.

Environmental protection is a core value of the brand!

That is why they have combined design and sustainability to create high-quality, durable, and timeless clothing. Taking responsibility for our environment has become an obligation over time, which is why Brava fabrics opts for natural fibers, renewable resources, and recycled materials, such as organic cotton, recycled wool, or Ecovero Viscose.

The ethical Spanish brand offers a full range of colorful basics with rather eye-catching details. Brava Fabrics draws its inspiration and creativity from culture, art, music, and travel, and this is inevitably felt in each of its collections.

Choosing to wear Brava also brings a little warmth and sunshine to your ethical wardrobe.

Positioned as an “eco-responsible” brand, it offers a collection of organic cotton t-shirts with prints or embroidered details made in Portugal.

For a more chic style, you will also find patterned shirts in organic cotton. For those who prefer casual wear, Brava Fabrics' men's mandarin-collar, flannel, or corduroy shirts are sure to win you over.

The materials used

Brava Fabrics uses MULESSING-FREE MERINO WOOL

Wool is an essential material in textiles; it is incredibly comfortable to wear and retains its properties for decades!

Unfortunately, most farms that produce wool use a cruel practice called mulesing, where large strips of skin around the sheep's tail are cut. This practice is often justified by fly infestations, which only occur because the overpopulated animals carry too much wool.

The wool used by the brand is therefore sourced without mulesing to protect all these mutilated sheep!

Recycled wool, used by Brava, is obtained by reusing old clothing through mechanical processes without the use of chemicals, and it can be returned to its original raw material state while preserving its exceptional characteristics.

About the cotton used…

Brava exclusively chooses cotton from organic farming for its clothing. Organic cotton is an eco-friendly raw material, produced and certified according to organic farming standards. Its production supports the health of ecosystems and people by using natural processes rather than artificial inputs.

Fun fact: The buttons used by Brava are made of Corozo. This material comes from the nuts of Tagua trees and is often called "vegetable ivory" thanks to its durable and animal-friendly properties. The nuts originate from South America and are harvested naturally, as they only fall to the ground when ripe, meaning that no deforestation or unethical intervention is necessary.
