Bleu de Paname x Paraboot Collaboration: the Avoriaz Boot
The new collaboration between Bleu de Paname and Paraboot has arrived at Neiwa! We tell you more about this (very) limited edition boot with an outdoor spirit.
Bleu de Paname
Bleu de Paname was born in 2009 at the initiative of Thomas Giorgetti and Christophe Lépine, two lifelong friends. Committed to French know-how, the creators set themselves the goal of producing shirts and long-sleeved pieces in France and extended their production to Portugal for t-shirts. From the launch, they created their flagship piece: the counter jacket. The first collection sparked a trend of returning to roots via workwear style and its robust and high-quality materials such as moleskin. The collections follow one after another, their DNA is preserved: blue, workwear, moleskin, Made in France and small-quantity collections. Bleu de Paname becomes one of the reference brands in terms of quality, design and material innovation.
Paraboot
The Paraboot brand was born in Izeaux, a village in Isère with many shoe factories. It was then that Rémy Richard, a cutting worker at Chevron, decided to go into business on his own in 1908 in the shoe trade. In 1927, back from the United States where he discovered "boots" with rubber soles, he created Paraboot ("Para" the name of a port in the Amazon and "Boot" for the technical side of the product). The brand's DNA is based on ancestral French know-how, quality leather and the robustness of the product. Many professionals equip themselves with these shoes.
The collaboration
The values of the two brands echo each other. It is therefore quite naturally that for its 10th anniversary, Bleu de Paname collaborates with Paraboot to create an iconic boot: the Avoriaz, revisited for this collaboration. Made by hand in France, this boot with a "mountain" and "hiking" spirit is made of leather and suede with a contrasting ribbed edge at the ankle. It also features a closure typical of the outdoor world: hooks and loops with two-tone laces. The model is lined with leather with a Norwegian stitch on a natural rubber sole.
But, how to clean suede shoes:
-
Gently brush the suede shoes with a crepe brush to remove dirt and light stains. Always brush in the direction of the grain.
-
Use a suede eraser to remove more stubborn stains and marks. Rub the eraser carefully on the stain until it disappears.
-
If the shoes are very dirty, use a cleaning solution specially designed for suede. Apply the solution to a soft cloth and gently rub the surface of the shoes.
-
Let the shoes air dry, away from any heat source.
-
Once the shoes are dry, use a crepe brush to straighten the suede fibers and give them a new look.
-
Finally, spray the shoes with a waterproofing product to protect them from stains and moisture in the future.
