What to wear this fall? 4 looks for inspiration
Temperatures are falling, sunny days are becoming rarer, and the roads are covered in leaves. Yes, it’s autumn! Fortunately, this season isn’t just characterized by grey skies; it’s also rich in style. It allows us to play with textures, colors, and layers, so why not make the most of it? To inspire you, we’ve put together 4 timeless autumn outfits that prove, no matter your age, you can find exactly what you’re looking for at Neiwa.
Casual chic looks
We start with two casual chic looks, a style that offers versatility by balancing elegance and casual comfort. They’re ideal for everyday wear.
The first look features a short navy blue wool jacket by Knowledge Cotton Apparel. Its color and material make it an elegant piece with a timeless design that gives this outfit its strength. Underneath, a casual Patagonia sweatshirt creates a style contrast with the more formal jacket. We layer the pieces from lightest to darkest to enhance the silhouette. For the bottom, we chose chinos in “Forrest Night,” a menswear wardrobe classic that complements the color of the coat. Casual chic offers plenty of freedom when it comes to footwear; for this outfit, we opted for a pair of Faguo sneakers. Combining comfort and style, they balance the look with a more relaxed touch.
The second look perfectly illustrates the art of layering. If you’re interested in fashion, you’ve probably heard this term before, which refers to wearing several layers of clothing. Essential during the mid-season, layering allows you to remove or add layers to adapt to changing temperatures. Here, we decided to play with volume and texture, starting with a white t-shirt, a wardrobe staple. We paired it with a “kelp” corduroy shirt, a quintessential autumn piece that contrasts with the texture of the t-shirt and adds elegance. To finish, we added an Olow aviator-style jacket, ideal for protection against the cold and for creating volume. Straight-leg navy blue loose trousers complete the look simply, without overdoing it. On your feet, we opted for a pair of urban-style VEJA sneakers. And to complete the outfit, we didn’t forget the Patagonia backpack, which adds a new texture to the overall look.
Casual looks
It’s the weekend! Whether you spend it with family, friends, or even on your own, it’s time to adopt a more relaxed and, above all, comfortable look!
With that in mind, we’ve put together a first look featuring a windproof and waterproof expedition parka designed by Patagonia. An essential piece that fits the trend of technical materials seen on this season’s runways and will help you brave the autumn weather. We paired it with a “burgundy” organic cotton t-shirt from Bask in The Sun, featuring an original embroidered design by Daniela Garreton—a detail that makes all the difference! For the bottom, our model wore Nudie Jeans straight-leg slim jeans made from stretch denim for maximum comfort. Finally, on your feet, we love the Kleman workwear-style boots, which are both comfortable and durable. With their rubber soles, they are waterproof and provide excellent grip. We suggest completing the look with a Topo Design bag, perfect for walks thanks to its many pockets.
Did you know? This autumn, warm shades from beige to brown are very much in vogue. We’ve showcased them in this latest look, featuring a Maison Labiche sweatshirt with a minimalist design and a message embroidered in the brand’s signature typography. Over it, our model wore a “timber brown” Patagonia overshirt, perfect for braving the autumn chill. An essential piece this autumn, it combines two of the season’s trends: brown tones and checks. For the bottom, we once again opted for jeans, the ultimate casual piece. This Nudie Jeans model is made from Japanese selvedge denim known for its durability. On your feet, camel Faguo sneakers match the sweatshirt and overshirt. We added a “brick” beanie from Olow to complete the look.
