December 8 is World Climate Day

World Climate Day was created by international NGOs. Every year, it is an opportunity to raise awareness about the need to act to combat the very real threat of global warming.

It is important to remember that everyone can act at their level to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, limit the rise in global temperatures, and protect the planet with simple everyday actions. One of Neiwa's main concerns is to do its part in this change.

Today, the fashion industry has become the second most polluting industry, with 1.2 billion tonnes of greenhouse gases and carbon emissions between 3 and 10% worldwide. This is due to the development of fast fashion, a fashion model based on the production of more and more clothes at low, competitive prices.

At Neiwa, we challenge these principles in favor of more responsible fashion, the polar opposite of fast fashion. Our selection of slow fashion brands prioritizes quality over quantity out of respect for the planet.

Among the boutique's flagship brands are VEJA, which uses natural rubber to make its sneakers, Patagonia and its recycled polyester, and Bask in the Sun, which offers locally produced clothing without toxic products. The three brands have in common the use of GOTS-certified organic cotton. The strategy of these brands has helped democratize transparency in the manufacturing process of timeless products created to last.
