Eco-Friendly Sneakers: A Combination of Organic Traced Leather and Natural Materials
]This model embodies the commitment to more sustainable fashion by using a majority of eco-designed and recycled materials. The shoe stands out for its upper in Organic Traced Leather (O.T.) and its O.T. leather and Suede inserts, coming from cattle raised in Southern Brazil and Uruguay.
Responsible Tanning and Traceability
- Ethical Tanning: The leather is tanned locally in workshops selected for their environmental standards. The process uses dyes that comply with current standards and, above all, is guaranteed free of harmful components to health or the environment.
- Traceability and Manufacturing: The stitching, assembly, and finishing phases are carried out in Brazil, a guarantee of recognized expertise.
The sole is a concentrate of eco-friendly innovation:
- Outsole: Composed of Amazon Rubber (40%), mineral silica, recycled rubber, and synthetic rubber.
- Insole: It incorporates Amazon Rubber (11%) and bio-based E.V.A. (45%), of which 36% comes from sugarcane. We also find recycled E.V.A. and organic cotton.
- Interior: The lining is made of Recycled Polyester (100%) and the laces are made of Organic Cotton (100%).
Sustainable Packaging
The product is delivered in an FSC™ certified shoebox and packaging composed of at least 70% recycled materials, entirely recyclable and reusable. The pouch is 100% recycled and recyclable.
Leather and Suede Care Tips
- Machine Washing: Strongly discouraged to preserve the materials.
- Protection: Waterproof regularly (every 3 to 6 months) with a suitable product.
- Smooth Leather Care: Use a damp cloth and a specific spray product, then apply a protective balm every 3 months.
- Drying: Allow to air dry, away from heat sources (sun, radiators) to prevent discoloration.
